I spent 15 years in the insurance industry as a CPA before realizing that what I enjoyed most was working directly with people. Real estate had always interested me, so in 2016 I took the leap, earned my real estate license, and never looked back! I love building relationships and helping clients achieve their homeownership goals, whether that’s a first home, dream home, or right-sizing for the next chapter.

I’m passionate about learning and staying educated to better serve my clients, earning multiple designations and becoming a licensed Broker along the way. I pride myself on making the buying and selling process smooth and straightforward.

Outside of real estate, I’m deeply involved in Doberman rescue and enjoy wake surfing on Iowa lakes whenever I can. I’ve called the Des Moines area home since 2000 and have been married to my husband, Dru, since 2007.

As a lifelong Iowan, I bring deep local knowledge, a passion for homes, and a heart for serving others. I grew up on the east side of Des Moines, have lived throughout Central Iowa, and earned my Bachelor of Architecture degree from Iowa State University. My background in architecture, design, and home-related fields gives me a unique perspective when helping clients buy or sell property.

Life has given me many opportunities to grow and serve—from raising and homeschooling four children, to caring for my mother through the final years of her remarkable life, to supporting my family and community in countless ways. Later in life, I took a leap of faith and earned my real estate license, combining my love of housing, design, and helping people into a career I truly enjoy.

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband of 34 years, our children and grandchildren, painting, golfing, swimming, traveling, and making memories with family and friends.
