Use the 3 Ps Rule to Boost Your Curb Appeal

Adding value to your home can be full of time consuming tasks and even costly but it doesn’t have to be. If your home is fairly upgraded and doesn’t need all too much done with it, you can use these 3 Ps to add value to your home, boost your curb appeal, and impress buyers as soon as they drive up to your home.
 
The first P is pressure wash the driveway and walkways that lead up to the home. Get rid of all of that dirt, mud, and remaining tannins from fallen leaves that built up from the fall and winter months and start fresh with a crisp and clean driveway and walkway. It may be a 2-3 hour job but it will be so worth it and buyers will notice. And really, an added bonus is that it’s super satisfying and rewarding seeing how nice it looks in the end.
 
The second P is paint your front door and or your garage door. And if you’re feeling extra ambitious, don’t be afraid to freshen up the paint on your shutters too if you have them. Adding a fresh coat of paint can really give your home a facelift for a small cost. Some popular colors include charcoal gray, green blue, bright white, or matte black.
 
And the third P is plant flowers or greenery around the front of the home to add pops of color and bring life to the entryway. Adding plants and flowers shows the buyers that you pay attention to the small details and it sends the message that you really care about the home and want to make it shine.
